In this second volume, the authors describe and analyse the evolution of the Breton Network from its golden age in the 1950s to the vicissitudes of the partial closure in 1967 and the operation of the remaining standard gauge since that date.
The rolling stock is also studied, with the introduction of both metric and standard gauge railcars, the arrival of 141 CTs and then diesel engines. Finally, a section is devoted to the inventory of preserved equipment and its current operation on tourist networks.
More than 500 photos and plans illustrate the 340 pages of this volume 2.
