Porsche: the birth of the myth.

Immortalised by Steve McQueen in his film Le Mans, the Porsche 917 has become one of the greatest icons of motor racing. But before that, the 917 was the culmination of Porsche's work at the highest level of competition. Thanks to this prototype, developed with the help of the greatest drivers of the time (Rodriguez, Siffert, Redman, Piper, etc.), Porsche could finally aim for overall victory in the 1970 Le Mans 24 Hours, and even win the endurance championship.
